I had a business far from being in it’s infancy (I launched in 2013), which was outwardly doing well.
✅ I had a full suite of clients.
✅ I’d successfully upped my prices.
✅ My profile was growing.
But it had TWO BIG problems.
The model I had in place wasn’t scalable.
My entire business depended on ME delivering to ALL my clients.
Unable to take time out of the business, juggling multiple clients with demanding deadlines and unable to take ANY time to strategise, I knew something had to change as I was on a one way ticket to burnout (somewhere I had been before!). And I wanted to get off that train.
Since turning things around I’ve managed to:
Build a team to support me, so I can step away from the business and it runs seamlessly without me
Systemise my business and processes so things are simpler, clearer and things are out of my head
Quadruple my turnover - more people and better systems mean I have been able to focus on income generating tasks and grow the business
Grow my profile - more time has meant I have been able to step into my leadership role and become the true face of the business
Take time off whilst I have been unwell - I’ve had breathing problems that saw me out of my business for two months, and most recently COVID - the business has continued to grow without me
Book my dream holiday - to Disneyland Florida next year...I can’t wait!
